Supporting Health & Fitness Program

Attendees participate in fitness sessions taught by experienced coaches and coaching assistants.  Healthy eating, grooming, self-awareness, stretching/flexibility, coordination skills and discipline are the focus areas. 

Business/Community Service Program

This program exposes young adults to the business world and the rewarding benefits of community service.  With support from local businesses, we lead a program that allows Track Fit youths to learn on a volunteer basis at local businesses and to complete community service to give them a better understanding and appreciation of the business world and community involvement.

Where will the ‘ABC’ Programs take place?  Mandel Public Library (downtown WPB), public parks and local businesses.

Who are the eligible candidates for the programs?  Disadvantaged youths who receive free or reduced lunch.

How do the target youths learn about the programs? We connect with school principals to make them aware of the programs and they help to identify youth candidates.

How is the progress measured? Depending on the goal, there are a variety of outcome measures including photos, videos, change and improvement over time and written evaluations from coaches, teachers and business owners.
